Hope and Healing from the Affects of Trauma, Disappointment, and Pain
A blog by Jimelle Carlson, M.Ed.
Every day we have a choice A choice to give, a choice to take A choice to love, a choice to hate A choice to listen, a choice to lash-out A choice to do good, a choice to do harm A choice to build up, a choice to tear down A choice to move forward, a choice to give up Every choice, a fork in the road
One direction wide and well-worn Many run down this path Yearning to fit in, to find relief A powerful current that tugs at your soul
The other is daunting and rough Few risk the unknown through the overgrowth Fear whispers lies as you consider this way Yet the breeze smells of peace and salvation
Every thought a battle Which path will you choose The broad road to destruction Or the narrow road that leads to LIFE
"broad is the road that leads to destruction...narrow is the road that leads to life." - Matthew 7
